Nicole Scherzinger definitely won a lot of viewers over this season on the UK’s X Factor, when she showed a very emotional side of herself over her split from Lewis Hamilton. But emotions aside, the former Pussycat Doll has an awesome voice, and she is ready to start recording that voice again. In fact, Nicole is rumored to be about to sign a huge new record deal, to the tune of $4.5 million. Sources recently told The Sun newspaper: “She is set to sign with Sony and can’t wait to get back to her music which took a back seat during X Factor.” The record deal means that fans may see a new album from Nicole as early as this summer.
And recording music isn’t the only thing that Scherzinger will be doing in 2014, as she will also be the face of Herbal Essences shampoo and has reportedly signed a deal with fashion brand Missguided as well. So, what exactly does that mean for her future on the X Factor? There’s no word on whether or not she will return, but the source did go on to say that Nicole was definitely “the most popular” member of the panel, so we’re guessing the show will try and keep her around.
